The body of popular travel influencer Anunay Sood has been brought back to India from Las Vegas, with his final rites scheduled for Tuesday, November 12th in Noida.
The 32-year-old Dubai-based content creator’s remains arrived at his family’s residence in Noida on Monday evening around 5 pm. Friends, followers, and well-wishers have been gathering to pay their respects since then. The cremation is set to take place at the Sector 94 cremation ground in Noida.
Sood’s sudden death on November 4th in Las Vegas has left the travel content community in shock. His family confirmed the news through his official Instagram account last Thursday, though they haven’t disclosed the cause of death.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police found Sood’s body on South Las Vegas Boulevard on November 4th. In their official statement, police said they “responded to a dead body located in the 3100 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard” and “assisted the coroner and took a non-criminal/medical report.” No further details about the circumstances have been released.

At the time of his death, Sood was in Las Vegas attending the Concours elite car show. His final Instagram posts from just two days earlier showed him enjoying the luxury automotive event, surrounded by high-end sports cars.
Sood had built an impressive career as a travel photographer and content creator. With 1.4 million Instagram followers and 380,000 YouTube subscribers, he was recognized as one of India’s leading voices in travel content. His work earned him a place on Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars list three years running—in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Based in Dubai, Sood started by documenting his own travel experiences and eventually built a thriving career working with major international brands and tourism boards. He was known for his cinematic storytelling and striking photography that captured destinations around the world. He also ran a successful marketing agency alongside his content creation work.
The outpouring of grief from his community has been immense, with thousands sharing memories and tributes across social media platforms, celebrating his passion for travel and his impact on the industry.
